The throughput of the TURN server will depend on the percentage of users who are simultaneously active.
With a server throughput of 100 Mbps, the TURN server will be able to handle approximately:
90 simultaneous calls.
For 1 Gbps (1,000,000 Kbps):
Number of users = 1,000,000 / (550 × 2) = 1,000,000 / 1,100 ≈ 909 simultaneous calls
For 10 Gbps (10,000,000 Kbps):
Number of users = 10,000,000 / (550 × 2) = 10,000,000 / 1,100 ≈ 9,090 simultaneous calls
To date, it has been verified that the maximum capacity of a single server, capable of handling conversations and sending information at any one time, is 10,000 users. The number of users on the server is unlimited.
